{Traverse City State Park} Camping July 17-20

Monday, July 28, 2014

We had a another great time camping last weekend. This time it was just our family and only for a long weekend. We can't wait to go back!

We left Thursday late afternoon and once we got set up we headed to straight to Moomers to meet up with my friend Corinn for ice cream!

letting out some energy after a long drive!

little miss was up way past her bedtime!

The next morning we made a delicous egg breakfast and spent the day at the beach with Corinn and her 3 boys.

We got back to our campsite late aftenoon to rest but daddy was the only one up for that idea! I took the  kids for a bike/stroller ride to get some fudge!

we hit the town at night for dinner at Bubba's and some shopping!

Saturday morning we headed out early for Sleeping Bear Dunes and did a major 2 hour hike. It was intense but the kids did SO good!

After our hike we headed to Glen Arbor for lunch and some more time at the beach there.

the kids zonked out on the ride back to the campground. when we got back we made dinner and relaxed around the campfire after a big day!

Sunday morning we grabbed a yummy breakfast at the Omlette Shoppe and then packed up and headed back home.

"Fearfully and Wonderfully Made"

Thursday, July 24, 2014

I'm so excited to share this darling tee with you readers from the amazing online shop 'Tink & Key'. I just adore it and the rest of their faith-based tees.
I love the message it shows and the constant reminder of how precious children are. Brings me to tears when I think of how special God made each and every one of His children.

The inspiration for the tee was taken from Psalms 139:14: "I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well."

Psalms 139:14 is the verse we chose as Jovie's 'life verse' long before she was born, so this tee is just perfect for her.
The tees are amazing quality and super soft. Nothing annoys me more than rough cotton t-shirts, especially on a baby.
All the 'Tink & Key' designs are precious and unique, you'll never find anything similar in a big box store and I LOVE THAT!
I'm huge on supporting small shops and especially ones with such a powerful message.
Go check out this adorable shop and use coupon code hello to save 20% off your purchase. Valid today 7/24 only.

+I was given this tee as a gift in exchange for my honest review of this product.

Jovie Breann, you are 7 months old!

Monday, July 21, 2014

wow! 7 months. unbelievable

You graduated up the ducky tub and love it. bye bye baby bathtub!

you are such a chill baby. so content and easy!

your napping schedule took a bit of a nose dive, you like to be snuggled to sleep more often now instead of just laying you down drowsy. you don't take as long of naps any more either. about an hour in the morning and hour and a half at night. you sleep from 9pm-7am at night.

you can stand against things for short periods of time

we see that tongue of yours out constantly!

you wear 6 months size clothes

you eat 4 or 5 6oz bottles a day depending on how much baby food you get during the day.

we noticed some eczema on your belly a couple weeks ago. It seems to be worst when it's warm out.

we started you on baby food this month, you've tried avocado, green beans and peas and love it all!

We love you like crazy Jovie! You are such a sweetie pie.
